European Ageing Network (EAN) is present in 25 countries across the EU and connects more than 10,000 providers in elderly care. Members care for over one million people in Europe and represent all types of organizations and individuals, including for-profit, non-profit and governmental organizations.

Their vision and mission is to improve the quality of life of older people.

LEBENSWELT HEIM

Lebenswelt Heim - Bundesverband was founded in 1994 and is the umbrella organisation in Austria linking the regional associations with their approx. 650 facilities and around 40,000 employees. As a member of the European Ageing Network (EAN), it brings the latest knowledge of nursing and care theory into practice and contributes to enabling elderly people to enjoy a good old age and age in dignity.
